As stated in the last post, I simply had to do a separate post for this one because it was UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT. In my opinion, this episode belongs with the absolute best of Who. Just fabulous. Okay, I'm definitely enjoying it more. Everyone who said it gets better as the series continues was absolutely right. And I'm falling more and more in love with Eleven with each episode. I'm trying to put my finger on what is not working with this version of Who for me, and what I've come up with is that it's like so much other television, and non-great television at that. Should I or should I not break down and watch the new season of Doctor Who, oh dear flist who know of my major Moffat-issues? Matt Smith just seems so insanely adorable, and I've been intrigued by all the posts I've been reading. I may intensely dislike River Song, but, damnit, I LOVE Alex Kingston, and Karen Gilliam seems cool.

So I LOVE Doctor Who, but alas the damn DVDs are ridiculously expensive ($70.00 for 13 episodes plus some extras expensive). Well, today Amazon's "deal a day" is that each season is $32.49.
